Terms of service

These terms apply to the Triody API, the console at triody.ink, and any dedicated endpoint we run for you. By creating an account or sending a request you agree to them. Dedicated endpoints also carry their own contract, which takes precedence where the two differ.

The service

Triody gives you an OpenAI-compatible API to open-weight language models that we host, plus a console to manage keys, usage, and billing. Public models are shared and metered per token. Dedicated endpoints reserve hardware for you alone under a separate agreement.

Accounts and keys

You need an account to use the API. Keep your API keys secret: anything sent with your key counts as sent by you and is charged to your balance. A key is shown once when created; if it leaks, revoke it in the console and it stops working immediately. You must be able to enter into a contract where you live.

Prices and payment

The service is prepaid. You buy credits in advance through Stripe; every request reserves an estimate against your balance and settles to the actual usage at the price shown on the model's card when the request was made. Requests that fail on our side are not charged. Auto top-up charges your saved card only after you have turned it on and within the limits you set.

Prices can change; a change applies to requests made after it is posted in the console. Purchased credits that you have not used are refundable on request; promotional credits are not. Credits are not transferable between accounts.

Acceptable use

The models we host are minimally filtered, so the responsibility for what you generate and how you use it is yours. You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • create or spread sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or endangers anyone;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or expose the private information of others;
  • generate malware, run attacks, or defeat the security of any system, including ours;
  • send spam, run scams, or impersonate people or organisations;
  • infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;
  • resell raw access to the API, or circumvent rate limits, caps, or access controls.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for abuse, or presents a security or payment risk, and we may do so without notice where the risk is immediate. Where we can, we tell you why and how to appeal. Unused purchased credits on an account closed for abuse may be withheld to cover the harm caused.

Availability

Public models are provided on a best-effort basis. Models may be paused for maintenance, in which case requests return a maintenance error and are not billed. Scale-to-zero models may take longer to answer the first request after an idle period. Service levels, if any, are written into dedicated endpoint contracts, not these terms.

Your content and our service

You keep all rights to what you send and what the models produce for you. We do not store prompt or completion content and we do not train on it; the privacy policy describes what we do keep. The Triody name, mark, site, and software remain ours.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as is. Model output can be wrong, offensive, or unsafe, and you must judge it before relying on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the console before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Questions go to kyriecai.me@gmail.com.
